After putting time into the beta, I can safely say that I like the game better than Battlefield 1, which I hardly played. However, there were quite a few issues.
Animations take way too long to finish for all sorts of things. Starting with only a single spare mag slows the game down as people end up hanging out near ammo crates. Throwing down ammo and medical bags are no longer automatically given out and have to be interacted with. The new revive mechanic takes ages and ends up leaving you picking up your teammate's weapon while giving them your's. The bleedout timer, even when being rushed, takes way too long and doesn't even count as part of your respawn timer. Map design continues to go down hill with Rotterdam being really bad. The capture zones for each objective in Conquest are way too big. The White House on Rotterdam can be captured from the house all the way out to the water. The second round of Grand Operation on Narvik has no time limit or ticket bleed and makes defending a pain as you have to slog through 300+ tickets, creating 30+ minute matches that really didn't need to happen. Weapon balance is all over the place and needs a lot of tuning. Player models blend in way too well with the maps and its hard to tell the difference at any distance than in your face which team is which. The building mechanic doesn't really feel all that great and unless it was A on Rotterdam, I felt it didn't really change much as you could climb over most of the sandbags people placed. Recon being the only class that can spot in a game where you can hardly tell the difference in player model is a horrible change.
There are a few other things I didn't like about the game, but I figure I should move on to a few things I did like about it.
The movement system is a lot better and helps me do better in my preferred play style. Sound design is still top notch like always. The maps at least look nice.
That's about it really. I'm kind of hoping they do another beta with some changes to improve the game.
